Debt to equity below 0.3 with interest coverage above 5
Debt under 30% of equity and operating profit covering interest more than five times, market cap above ₹500 crore.
Debt to equity compares total borrowings with shareholders' equity; below 0.3 means debt is less than 30% of equity. Interest coverage compares operating profit with interest cost, so above 5 means EBIT was more than five times the year's interest expense.
Together they describe how a company is funded and how many times its operating profit covers the interest on what it has borrowed. The market-cap floor keeps the list to larger listings.

Screen criteria
A company appears only when it meets every condition below. The figures are raw disclosed numbers or mechanically computed ratios; the definitions follow the ratio reference.
| Condition | Threshold | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Debt to equity | below 0.3 | Latest total debt divided by stockholders' equity. |
| Interest coverage ratio | above 5 | TTM EBIT divided by TTM interest expense. |
| Market capitalisation | above ₹500 crore | Latest close multiplied by shares outstanding. Keeps the list to companies of a minimum size. |
How to read this table
- Interest coverage is shown and the table is ordered by it, highest first. A company with almost no interest expense can show a very large multiple.
- Debt to equity uses the latest balance sheet; interest cover uses trailing-twelve-month figures, so the two can describe slightly different periods.
- Lenders such as banks and NBFCs carry debt as a raw material, so these ratios read differently for them.
