DII holding rising with over 100,000 shareholders
Domestic institutional holding up versus the previous quarter in companies with more than 100,000 shareholders.
Domestic institutional investors include mutual funds and insurers. This screen lists companies where their combined holding rose between the latest two quarterly filings and where the company has more than 100,000 shareholders on record.
The shareholder-count condition keeps the list to widely held companies. It comes from the grand-total row of the shareholding pattern, which can be filed on a different date from the percentage breakdown.

Screen criteria
A company appears only when it meets every condition below. The figures are raw disclosed numbers or mechanically computed ratios; the definitions follow the ratio reference.
| Condition | Threshold | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Change in DII holding | above 0 points | Difference between the latest two shareholding filings, in percentage points. |
| Number of shareholders | above 100,000 | Company-wide shareholder count from the shareholding-pattern total row. |
How to read this table
- The DII change is in percentage points and the table is ordered by it, largest increase first; the shareholder count is shown alongside.
- Mutual-fund inflows, rebalancing and share issues can all move the figure; the filing records the result, not the cause.
- Compare with the FII screen to see whether domestic and foreign institutions moved together.
