5-year average ROCE above 20%
Capital-weighted average return on capital employed over five years above 20%, market cap above ₹1,000 crore.
Return on capital employed measures operating profit against the debt and equity funding the business. Averaging it over five years takes out a single good or bad year, so this screen shows companies whose ROCE stayed above 20% on average, with a market cap above ₹1,000 crore.
A five-year average needs six annual periods of data. That is a demanding requirement, so the list is shorter than the single-year screens and can be empty when the underlying history is not yet available for a company.
Re-run live against the latest published data each time it is opened. Not a ranking, a score, or a recommendation.

Screen criteria
A company appears only when it meets every condition below. The figures are raw disclosed numbers or mechanically computed ratios; the definitions follow the ratio reference.
| Condition | Threshold | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Average ROCE, 5 years | above 20% | Capital-weighted average of annual EBIT over capital employed across five years; needs six annual periods. |
| Market capitalisation | above ₹1,000 crore | Latest close multiplied by shares outstanding. Keeps the list to companies of a minimum size. |
How to read this table
- The five-year average ROCE column is shown and drives the ordering, highest first.
- The average is weighted by capital employed, so larger capital bases in later years count for more.
- Compare with the current-year ROCE on the P/E and ROCE screen to see whether recent returns differ from the average.
